I've never used Dante for anything else except an audio interface between an A&H console and a DAW - since there's no round trip back into the console from the DAW for in-ears or processing or anything, I figured there's no harm in setting the latency high. I have to admit - latency as it refers to DVS has always been slightly confusing to me. Right now I have the clock grand master set to the A&H internal clock - I will double-check that flag in DC as well to make sure. Hey! I will double-check that clock sync is holding the next time I go in, tomorrow - I'll set up a dummy recording session and let it run for a while and see if DC spits out any errors. I don't believe the ethernet cable is shielded, though I've recorded via DVS without a shielded cable before without issues.Īny thoughts or starting points from the Dante-savvy on this board?
